Michael Falzarano and Friends have been keeping the repertoire of The New Riders Of The Purple Sage going with Songs Of The Grateful Dead and Michael’s originals. Michael an American guitarist/singer and songwriter has been a professional musician since the 1970’s, most notably in Hot Tuna and The New Riders of the Purple Sage which had a revival in 2005 featuring David Nelson and Buddy Cage. They released a live album Wanted: Live at Turkey Trot and two studio albums, Where I Come From and 17 Pine Avenue.
Professor Louie & The Crowmatix Grammy Nominated band from Woodstock, NY hails as “Roots Music Royalty.” Professor Louie has emerged in the music industry as the torchbearer of the true spirit of American Roots music. Professor Louie became a part of The Band’s legacy Co-Producing and performing on their three final albums, Jericho, High On The Hog and Jubilation. Rick Danko, bass player and singer of The Band, christened him Professor Louie because of his extensive work with the group. The Crowmatix have performed with members of The Band and released a CD with Levon Helm ~ Levon Helm & The Crowmatix “Souvenir Vol. 1”.
